About Us
MD Property Services didn’t start as a large operation with fleets of trucks and crews across the state. We got our start in 1992, with a mower, a pair of old shears, and two brothers willing to work hard.
At just 15 years old, Mike Gray began mowing a model home to earn money for sports and summer expenses. His younger brother Jared, only 10 at the time, edged lawns by hand, using their grandfather’s shears. What began as a summer job quickly turned into something bigger: a shared passion for working outdoors, working with people, and taking pride in a job done right.
Originally called MD Lawncare, the business grew steadily through determination, long days, and word-of-mouth trust. Six years later, it was incorporated as MD Property Services, Inc., expanding into full-service landscape construction, maintenance, and commercial operations.
More than 30 years later, that same work ethic still defines everything we do.
Who We Are
MD Property Services is proudly family-owned and operated.
- Dave Gray, the founding owner and father, helped establish the company and is now retired
- Michael Gray, founding owner, serves as CEO
- Jared Gray, who worked in the business from the very beginning, serves as COO and has been an owner for more than a decade
Today, Mike and Jared work side by side every day, running the business, supporting the team, and staying personally involved in projects. The work, and the reputation behind it, is personal to them.
